The T5 Data Center in Plano, Texas, is a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the growing demand for secure, reliable, and scalable data storage and processing solutions. Completed in 2018, the campus spans approximately 242,000 square feet and includes multiple data halls, each capable of supporting high-density computing environments. The facility is built with a focus on redundancy, security, and energy efficiency, making it an ideal location for enterprise IT operations, cloud providers, and other high-performance computing needs. The central plant at the T5 Data Center features a robust cooling infrastructure with a total capacity of approximately 12,000 tons, utilizing advanced cooling technologies to maintain optimal temperatures and ensure uptime. Timberlake & Dickson Scope:
Timberlake & Dickson was responsible for furnishing multiple types of equipment for the project to meet the specific performance requirements of the facility, including Alfa Laval plate heat exchangers and a Puroflux filtration system to ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability. Additionally, the project included training key personnel on operation and maintenance, providing all necessary documentation, and ensuring a smooth handover, all aimed at enhancing the facility’s operating efficiency and reliability.

The facility has achieved Uptime Institute Tier III certification, which recognizes its robust infrastructure and ability to maintain 99.982% availability, even during planned maintenance.
